About the Junior Mental Calculation World Championship (JMCWC)

The JMCWC is an international in-person event—not an online competition! It will take place 2025 in Bielefeld, Germany, bringing together young mental calculation talents from around the world.

Age Groups The competition will be held in three main age categories, plus a special group for invited participants over 19:

Group Age Range
Juniors 1 Up to 11 years
Juniors 2 12–14 years
Seniors 15–19 years
Seniors Plus 20–23 years (invited only)

Rules & Format Detailed rules for the contest will be provided on this website. The competition is designed to be fair, challenging, and fun for all participants.

More Than a Contest Alongside the competition, participants can enjoy expert-led workshops, a cultural program to explore Germany, and opportunities to meet people from different countries—such as during our international dinner evenings.

Locations 2025

Workshops: Ratsgymnasium Bielefeld

Competition: Ravensberger Park Bielefeld
